“Preceptors and Educators training: IV care and Technology”

             On Wednesday March 23rd, 2018, Department of Medical Nursing at Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University collaborated with private company, Becton Dickinson (Thailand), held “Preceptors and Educators training: IV care and Technology” event for knowledge update for faculties and preceptors of Siriraj hospital at Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University. There were 117 attendants.
             Knowledge Management (KM) focused on IV care was composed of lunch symposium and workshops. The lunch symposium was separated into 2 lectures.

1. Central Line Associated Bloodstream Infection (CLABSI) prevention and control for Siriraj hospital by Associate Professor Yong Rongrungrueng, M.D.
2. New technology for Central Line Associated Bloodstream Infection (CLABSI) & cost effectiveness by Janya Janyopas, RN.

There are 3 workshops for attendances to learn and test intravenous devices.
