The department's policy is directed toward the provision of quality professional services to the society. It is hoped that people will have good self-care, which will lead to the improved quality of life of children and their families. A guideline for the provision of professional services is set up by the Department of Pediatric Nursing as follow:
   1.Serving as a guest lecturer for nursing students in other educational institutes.
   2.Serving as a guest speaker in a nursing conference, seminar, and training for pediatric nurses, chldren and their families, teachers, and caregivers.
   3.Offering information and professional advice on child rearing practices and pediatric nursing through mass media such as journals, radio, television and internet webing.
   4.Providing health information and advice to children and their caregivers.

  3. Child health telephone counseling
                The Department of Pediatric Nursing and the Pediatric Nurses Society of Thailand jointly provide telephone-counseling service regarding child-rearing practice to parents and caregivers.
