Department of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing has conducted researches on the screening, prevention, intervention and rehabilitation for patients suffering from Major Depressive Disorder. Meanwhile, the Department also encourages its personnel to do researches on their areas of interest, such as symptom management in individuals with schizophrenia, substance abuse, and sexual health, to search for new knowledge in nursing and apply such knowledge in teaching and academic services.
