How to apply for the Master of Nursing Science Program (International Program) at Mahidol University

Applicant Qualifications

• Plan 1.1 Applicants (Research only):
  1. Hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing (or equivalent) from academic institutes. For a Thai nursing education institute, it must be accredited by Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council; 
  2. Currently hold a license for registered nurse in their own country;
  3. Have working experience in related to nursing profession prior to admission to the Program at least one year;
  4. Have research experience endorsed by the head or supervisor of the research project, or have research publication at least one paper related to nursing profession;
  5. Trained in a four-month nursing specialty program or equivalent approved by Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council or other organizations in their own country or endorsed by the head or director of the institute;
  6. Other requirements shall follow those that specified by the Faculty of Graduate Studies;
  7. Applicant who does not meet the required qualifications may be considered by the Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
     
     
• Plan 1.2 Applicants (Course work and research):
  1. Hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing (or equivalent) from academic institutes. For a Thai nursing education institute, it must be accredited by Thailand Nursing and Midwifery Council;
  2. Currently hold a license for registered nurse in their own country;
  3. Have working experience in related to nursing profession prior to admission to the Program at least one year;
  4. Other requirements shall follow those that specified by the Faculty of Graduate Studies;
  5. Applicant who does not meet the required qualifications may be considered by the Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
