A conference: the 22th conference "Disaster Mangement: Taking Action to Better Health Outcomes"

Faculty of Nursing organized the 21th conference “Disaster Mangement: Taking Action to Better Health Outcomes” on January 14-16, 2013 at Mahidol Adulyadej-Prasrinakarin Building, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus. Associate Professor Dr. Fongcum Tilokskulchai, Dean, Faculty of Nursing, was the chairperson in the opening conference and paid obeisance ceremony to Somdet Pra Sri Phatcharinthra Borommarachininat, Somdet Pra Sri Savarindira Phra Phan Vasa Ayyika Chao, Somdet Pramahitarathibet Adunyadetvikrom Prabaromrachanok and Somdet Pra Sri Nakarindra Boromarachachonnanee. We gained an accreditation from many famous speakers such as Dr. Smith  Dharmasaroja, Chairman of Foundation of National Disaster Warning Council to be a lecturer in topic “ASEAN Perspective on Disaster” , Dr. Pichit Rattakul, Senior Adviser of Asian Diaster Preparedness Center to be a lecturer in topic “Policy and Planning in Diaster Management”

This conference organized for nurses from public sector and private sector, academic staffs and nursing students to apply knowledges in disaster management to takecare of victims completely and efficiency. Moreover, the conference reinforced the empowerment to the collaboration of academic staffs, researchers, and practitioners to support and takecare victims.
