CLIMATE

Thailand can best be described as tropical and humid for the majority of the country during most of the year. The area of Thailand in Bangkok has a climate determined by three seasons: summer, rainy, and winter. The temperature in Bangkok varies from 38°C to 19°C with the annual average at about 29°C. The humidity is from 66% to 82.8%. Generally speaking, the best time to visit Thailand is from November to February when the northeast monsoon is blowing cool, dry air which serves as a respite from the heat. During this cool season, the temperature ranges from 18ºC to 32ºC in Bangkok. The average day time temperature in November is 26.8 °C. (during the Congress).

Recently Bangkok has improved its infrastructure with the opening of the new Suvarnnabhumi International Airport and introduction of the MRT metro system.
