Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University led by Assistant Professor Dr.Juntima Rerkluenrit, Assistant Dean for Academic Services organized a project to reinforce health and wellness for novices at Wat Kritsanaveru Puttharam School (Wat Phai Dam) in Sing Buri Province for two days.
On July 30, 2020, there were many activities including
- Educating about alteration for being a teenage novice organized by Lecturer Thineerat Thavorn and advised by Lecturer Sathaka Pimroon and team
- IQ Test activity by Asst. Prof. Dr. Walailak Pumpuang from Department of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing
- Sanitation care for communicable disease prevention and knowledge about disease and practice about COVID-19 by Lecturer Benjamat Olanratmanee from the Department of Pediatric Nursing
- Educating about dengue fever by Lecturer Chontida Ladee and Lecturer Ratchada Jantraporn from the Department of Public Health Nursing
- And providing knowledge on mental health and observation of depressive symptoms by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wareerat Thanoi and Asst. Dr. Walailak Pumpuang from the Department of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing
On 31 July 2020, lecturer team from the Department of Surgical Nursing was the leading team organizing activities including
- A handwashing demonstration activity (video clip) by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pongsri Srimoragotand and team
- Prevention of respiratory infections and how to use and clean sanitation masks and face shield (video clip) by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wimolrat Puwarawuttipanich and team
- And demonstrating how to brush teeth (video clip) and instructing on dental care by Assoc. Prof. Wallada Chanruangvanich and team
The organization of this activity had been well cooperated with Sing Buri Provincial Health Office on assistance to examine the dental health of the novices at Wat Phai Dam.
