The Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, on behalf of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Nursing and Midwifery Development, arranged two virtual special talks to give information and share experiences about role of nurses during the COVID-19 situation. The first special talk under the topic "Sharing and Discussion on Roles of Nurses for Preventing Emerging and Re-Emerging Diseases During COVID-19 Pandemic" was held on July 1,2020, and another event was held on September 26, 2020, with the topic “Together Fighting Covid-19 in Asia”. Associate Professor Dr. Wimolrat Puwarawuttipanit, Head of Department of Medical Nursing, the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, was a main speaker in both online activities. Attendees were including current graduate students and alumni from various countries in Asia such as Myanmar, Indonesia, Nepal, Vietnam, and Thailand.
