On October 25th 2020, Breastfeeding and Child Health Promoting Center on behalf of the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, together with Lactation Nurse Association of Thailand held the virtual academic conference entitled “พยาบาลนมแม่ เส้นทางแห่งความก้าวหน้า (Lactation Nurse: The Path of Success)” via Zoom. Associate Professor Dr.Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University gave opening remarks and welcomed participants. On this occasion, there were special talks from various speakers as follows: Mae Chee Sansanee Sthirasuta, a famous Buddhist nun and the founder of Sathira-Dhammasathan in Bangkok, lecturing on the topic “สื่อสารด้วยใจผ่านสายใยนมแม่ (Communication and Bonding through Breastfeeding)”, Assistant professor Dr. Pannarat Sangperm, Secretary of Lactation Nurse Association of Thailand lecturing on the topic "R2R อย่างไรให้ได้ผลงานวิชาการ (R2R for Academic Performance)", and Lecturer Sirima Leelawong, director of the Division of Nursing, lecturing on "ความก้าวหน้าในตำแหน่งของพยาบาลนมแม่ (Career Path of Lactation Nurse)". In 2020 Annual General Meeting at the final part of the conference, Associate Professor Kannikar Vichitsukon (President of Lactation Nurse Association of Thailand), Assistant Professor Dr. Pornnapa Tangsuksan (Vice President of the Association), Assistant Professor Chantika Chunpia (Treasurer of the Association), and Assistant professor Dr. Pannarat Sangperm (Secretary of the Association) reported the results of the association's performance. The meeting received a lot of attention from the registrants who attended the meeting.
