Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Undertaking Royal Duties at Wat Phai Dam, Sing Buri Province


On October 16, 2020 at 2:47 p.m, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn undertook royal duties including Kathina-robe offering at Kritsana Veru Phuttaram Temple (Wat Phai Dam) in In Buri District, Singburi province, Thailand. The event was co-organized by Maha Vajiralongkorn Rajwittayalai Foundation, in collaboration with Sirindhorn Foundation, and Buddhists, to bring material elements to be used in the operation and maintenance of the religious place. At present, there is Phra Kru Praphatthanaseenkhun as an abbot of the temple, and has 9 monks and 130 novices.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the infirmary room where the Sirindhorn Foundation and the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University provided health care for novices. There were health promotion projects for developing health care perceptions and disease prevention, such as knowledge about COVID-19. Furthermore, there was the Little Novice Project which was found that there were 15 novice students who were underweight, so the school provided milk to the novices twice a day. There was also the Pichit Uan Phichit Phung Project found that there were 18 overweight novices, thus solving by diets and exercises after school.
