On December 19, 2020, Department of Pediatric Nursing collaborating with Division of Academic Services of the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University received partial budget support from Charoen Pokphand Group (CP), and partial support for equipments from Berli Jucker Public Company Limited (BJC) and Upright Simulation Company Limited for organizing the workshop “Health Promotion and First Aid for Accidents in Preschoolers” for 91 teachers and child caregivers from various schools.

There were activities including Associate Professor Yuwadee Pongsaranunthakul lecturing on "School Accidents: Prevention and Care of Preschool Children" and Lecturer Kanjana Krongthammachart lecturing on "Airway obstruction, apnea, and basic CPR".

There were also activities for teaching demonstration devided into two stations consisting of Station 1 : "First aid for foreign-body airway obstruction, drowning, electric shock" by Assistant Professor Benjamat Olanratmanee, Lecturer Kanjana Krongthammachart, Associate Professor Dr. Apawan Nookong, and Associate Professor Dr. Arunrat Srichantaranit and Station 2 : "First aid for wounds, scald, poisoning, and poisonous animal/insect bites" by Associate Professor Yuwadee Pongsaranunthakul and Associate Professor Weeraya Jungsomjatepaisal.

The activities were organized to benefit teachers and child caregivers for children's health promotion. The event was held at Room 303 and the yard at Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, Bangkoknoi.
