Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Receives 2020 Thailand Quality Class (TQC) Award


On March 19, 2021, Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, along with the administrative team, attended the award presentation ceremony to receive the Thailand Quality Class (TQC) award given by Mr.Kobchai Sungsitthisawad, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry, at The National Cultural Center in Bangkok.

“Thailand Quality Class” (TQC) is an award that is considered using the world standard quality assessment criteria through Thailand Productivity Institute, Ministry of Industry. With all operations in the organization, the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, eventually received the global standard award “Thailand Quality Class (TQC)” in 2020.

The Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University has always had a strong policy in determining to develop educational standards and organizational management system quality. The Faculty of Nursing adopted Thailand Quality Award (TQA) guidelines to realize the organization's goals and improvement points, enabling the Faculty’s staff to work towards the same goals; as well as, to integrate work in every mission of the Faculty such as Education, Research, and Academic Services. It subsequently causes continuous learning, innovation, and research that constantly benefit Thai people's well-being, and the organization finally becomes a pillar of sustainable development in the nursing profession at both national and international levels.
