On April 5, 2021, Associate Professor Dr.Virapun Wirojratana, Head of Department of Fundamental Nursing and Chairman of Center of Health Promotion Program for Elderly, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, gave opening remarks for the Activity "Rod Nam Koh Pohn: Water Blessing", which means pouring water on the hands of revered elders and ask for blessing, as for the National Day for the elderly in Thailand.

Associate Professor Weeraya Jungsomjatepaisal, Associate Dean for Human Resources, together with faculty members from the Department of Fundamental Nursing, and members of the Center of Health Promotion Program for Elderly joined this activity. In the event, there were activities including 1) Providing Thai Dharma offerings to 9 monks from Wat Chao Am 2) The Water Blessing ceremony for auspiciousness, and 3) Giving certificates to 25 volunteer members and the Center’s work assistance. Khun Chavee Petchdee, Chairman of the Center of Health Promotion Program for Elderly was a representative to receive certificates at the multipurpose yard, Faculty of Nursing Dormitory, Bangkhunnon.
