On August 24, 2021, Associate Professor Dr. Wimolrat Puwarawuttipanich, Head of the Department of Medical Nursing, Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, together with Dr. Pongsuda Pongtanya, Director of Innovation and Product Development Director from SCG Packaging Public Company Limited (SCGP), jointly delivered the presentation on the topic “Development of Natural Fiber-Based PPE in Thailand: Collaboration between Faculty of Nursing and SCG Packaging Public Company Limited” in the virtual seminar "The Australia-ASEAN Virtual Seminar Series: Personal Protective Equipment for COVID-19". The event was organized by The Medical Device Research Institute of Flinders University, South Australia, to give opportunities to experts from Australia and the ASEAN region to discuss PPE fitting and community/health professional education.
