The Online Project “Disseminating Accessible Knowledge about Public health to the Migrant Community in the Epidemic Situation of COVID-19”


On September 5, 2021, Mahidol University’s Faculty of Nursing, and Research Institute for Languages and Cultures of Asia (RILCA) organized the online project “Disseminating Accessible Knowledge about Public health to the Migrant Community in the Epidemic Situation of COVID-19” led by Assistant Professor Dr. Rudee Pungbangkadee from the Department of Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing. Faculty members joining the project to share knowledge in different topics were as follows. Associate Professor Dr. Yupa Jewpattanakul from the Department of Public Health Nursing presented on the topic “COVID-19 Prevention & Primary Treatment when Getting Infected”. Assistant Professor Dr.Sirada Kesornsri and Assistant Professor Sathaka Pimroon from the Department of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing provided knowledge on the topic “Mental Health Care during the COVID-19 Outbreak”. The project was conducted through Zoom Meeting and broadcasted via Facebook Live. There were two rounds of activities separated in the morning and the afternoon with approximately 50 participants in each round. The objectives were to create knowledge for migrant workers about self-care for both physical and mental health during the COVID-19 epidemic.
