The Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, was a co-organizer for the APANE International Workshop and Webinar 2021 which was held via Cisco WebEx Meeting


As being one of distinguished members of Asian and Pacific Alliance for Nursing Education (APANE), the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, was a co-organizer for the APANE International Workshop and Webinar 2021 which was held via Cisco WebEx Meeting on October 7, 2021.

For the morning session between 7.30 a.m. - 11.10 a.m. (Bangkok Time), there was an online workshop under the topic “Nursing Knowledge in Action: Exchange of Experience in Teaching Strategy of Evidence-Based Health Care Transnational Workshop”. Associate Professor Dr. Aurawamon Sriyuktasuth joined as a keynote speaker for the topic “Evidence-based health care curriculum development for graduate program in nursing”. In the afternoon, the APANE 2021 Webinar was conducted under the theme “The Evolution of Nursing Education during COVID-19: Sharing of Voices across Countries”. Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of Faculty of Nursing, took part as a moderator in Session 1: Students’ Voice "How we learn from transforming experience during the outbreak". In addition, Miss Thatchkorn Klaisuban and Miss Endah Dwi Kurniawati, graduate students, jointly exchanged experience and knowledge in this session.

The APANE aims to foster high standards of nursing education and promote the partnership and collaboration among nursing education professionals over international networking. It is a cooperation for sustainable development according to the Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) which supports global cooperation to foster sustainable development in research and health sciences.
