Assistant Professor Dr. Sirada Kesornsri and Master’s Students Present in the 11th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum (Online)


On December 8 - 9, 2021, School of Nursing, LKS Faculty of Medicine, The University of Hong Kong, organized the 11th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum via an online system. The Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, was also one of this Forum’s co-organizers.

On December 9, 2021, Assistant Professor Dr. Sirada Kesornsri, Associate Dean for International Relations of the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, joined as a speaker presenting the topic “Psychological Well-being among University Students in Thailand” in the Invited Symposium: Primary Care and Behavioural Health. In this Forum, Master's students of the Faculty of Nursing also participated in submitting e-Poster works on the following topics:

- Miss Roshani Shrestha presented the e-Poster titled “Factors Predicting Post Cholecystectomy Syndrome in Patients after One Week of Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy in Nepal”.

- Miss Piyanuch Wiriyatuntikul presented the e-Poster titled “The Effect of a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Stimulation Program on Cognitive Function and Psychological Well-Being in Persons with Mild Cognitive Impairment”

The 11th Hong Kong International Nursing Forum was attended by speakers and participants from many leading nursing institutions around the world, including the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Thailand, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Canada, United States, and United Kingdom. It is cooperation for sustainable development according to the Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) which supports global cooperation to foster sustainable development in research and health sciences.
