December 18, 2021, Department of Surgical Nursing, Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, organized the online training on "Risk Management" via Zoom meeting. This training focused on smoke management, smoke composition, preventive equipment, risk management of operating rooms in epidemic situations, and preparations for the future. The training aimed to develop the potential of perinatal nurses to bring knowledge and experience to use in risk management for maintaining the quality of nursing care and bring the highest effectiveness to the organization, service recipients, and their families.

Associate Professor Dr. Usavadee Asdornwised from the Department of Surgical Nursing, Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, was a lecturer given knowledge about the practice guidelines for perinatal surgery on the topic “Surgical Smoke Management Update 2022". After that, there were discussions from experts from many institutions on the topic of "Risk Management during Covid-19 and After" by Associate Professor Dr. Usavadee Asdornwised, Miss Duangrat Duangnate (Nurse Supervisor from Department of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University), Miss Wanittha Laohawittayarat (Registered Nurse from Sirindhorn Hospital, Medical Service Department, Bangkok), and Miss Uthairat Chantaratang (Registered Nurse from Somdej Phra Phutthaloetla Hospital, Samut Songkhram). There were 280 participants attending this training.
