On March 1, 2022, Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, along with the administrative team, jointly congratulated the faculty members and staff on the occasion of receiving awards and achievements as the following details.

1. Associate Professor Dr. Usavadee Asdornwised from Department of Surgical Nursing has been recently approved by Mahidol University Council to be appointed as “Professor” in Nursing.

2. Assistant Professor Dr. Pornnapa Tangsuksan from Department of Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing has been selected by Mahidol University to receive Outstanding Civil Servant, Employee and University Staff Award 2021 (Group 1: Civil servants in higher education institutions, with position of lecturer and assistant professor). In addition, Dr. Pornnapa has been nominated to receive an honorary badge (Golden Garuda) at the event of Civil Service Day that will be held on April 1, 2022, at Santi Maitri Building, the Government House.

3. Mr. Sutthisak Srisawad, Researcher (Senior Professional Level) and Head of Division of Research Promotion and Development has been selected by Mahidol University to receive Outstanding Civil Servant, Employee and University Staff Award 2021 (Group 5: university employee in professional or general administrative positions and working less than 10 years).

Assistant Professor Dr. Pornnapa Tangsuksan and Mr. Sutthisak Srisawad received awards and certificates at the 53rd Anniversary of the Royal Bestowal of Mahidol University’s Name, held on March 2, 2022 at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University.

On March 1, 2022, Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, along with heads of seven academic departments including Department of Pediatric Nursing, Department of Fundamental Nursing, Department of Public Health Nursing, Department of Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing, Department of Medical Nursing, Department of Surgical Nursing, and Department of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, jointly signed the annual memorandum of agreement for research between the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and the heads of the departments in order to drive the research of the Faculty to be published in both national and international level. The signation took place at room 215, Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University at Bangkok Noi.
