On March 2, 2022, Associate Professor Weeraya Jungsomjatepaisal (Associate Dean for Human Resources), and Associate Professor Dr.Nopporn Vongsirimas (Associate Dean for Research) attended activities organized by Mahidol University on the occasion of 53rd Anniversary of the Royal Bestowal of Mahidol University’s Name and 134th Anniversary of Mahidol University at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya.

The activities included placing flower trays before the Royal Statue of His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol of Songkla at Prince Mahidol Hall, and the performance “12th Honor Speech of Professor Chatchawan Osathanon, M.D.” on the topic “The Reform of Thai Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation” by Dr. Anek Laothamatas, Minister of Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. The event took place at Prince Mahidol Hall.

On this occasion, there were faculty members and staff who received awards as follows:

1. Associate Professor Dr. Acharaporn Seeherunwong, Lecturer from Department of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, received “2021 Faculty Senate Awards for Excellent Teacher in Health Sciences”.

2. Assistant Professor Dr. Pornnapa Tangsuksan from Department of Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing was selected by Mahidol University to receive Outstanding Civil Servant, Employee and University Staff Award 2021 (Group 1: Civil servants in higher education institutions, with position of lecturer and assistant professor).

3. Mr. Sutthisak Srisawad, Researcher (Senior Professional Level) and Head of Division of Research Promotion and Development was selected by Mahidol University to receive Outstanding Civil Servant, Employee and University Staff Award 2021 (Group 5: university employee in professional or general administrative positions and working less than 10 years).
