On May 9, 2022, Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, together with Associate Professor Kannikar Vichitsukon, President of Lactation Nurse Association of Thailand, presided over the opening of the workshop on “Developing Breastfeeding through the Research R2R in the Next Normal” organized by the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University in collaboration with the Lactation Nurse Association of Thailand, from 9-10 May 2022 via Zoom.

There were expert speakers from various institutions to give lectures and talks on many topics with the aim of developing the knowledge potential and competence of registered nurses in the work of protecting, promoting, and supporting the breastfeeding. It is also to increase the efficiency and outcomes of breastfeeding work under the increasing number of research and discovery in health sciences; as well as emphasizing importance on raising the level of knowledge, paradigm shifting and restoring the skills of those involved in protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding.
