On May 2, 2022, at Department of Science Service, Bangkok, Assistant Professor Dr. Pornnapa Tangsuksan from Department of Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing received a certificate and an honorary badge from Professor Dr. Sirirurg Songsivilai, M.D (Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation) as being selected as Outstanding Civil Servant, Employee and University Staff Award 2021. On the same day, Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, along with Associate Professor Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Head of the Department of Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing, jointly congratulated to Assistant Professor Dr. Pornnapa.

Currently, Assistant Professor Dr. Pornnapa Tangsuksan is President of the Breastfeeding and Child Health Promoting Center, Head of Programs of Nursing Specialty in Breastfeeding, and a full-time lecturer in Obstetrics-Gynecology Nursing at the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University. She is also the advocate for the Breastfeeding and Child Health Promoting Center to receive the Certificate of Participation from WABA (World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action), the international agency working to drive breastfeeding. The certificate was given to the team owing to organizing the virtual academic conference entitled "Unified Nursing - Protecting Thai Children to be Breastfed" on August 15, 2021, on the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week 2021. Dr. Pornnapa was also the person behind the success of the founding of Breastfeeding and Child Health Promoting Center’s short training programs.

Dr. Pornnapa’s latest award was given by Mahidol University on the 53rd Anniversary of His Majesty the King and 134th Anniversary of Mahidol University. She was selected to receive Outstanding Civil Servant, Employee and University Staff Award 2021 (Group 1: Civil servants in higher education institutions, with position of lecturer and assistant professor). There were other including many other works and textbooks in the field of breastfeeding. Based on the valuable history and outstanding work, the Outstanding Civil Service Selection Subcommittee made a resolution on March 23, 2022 to grant Assistant Professor Dr. Pornnapha Tangsuksant the Outstanding Civil Servant Award 2021.
