The Online Conference “2022 Challenges and Opportunities of Nursing Education and Practice During Pandemic” Organized by Department of Nursing, Tzu Chi University


On July 2, 2022, faculty members and students from the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, attended the online conference “2022 Challenges and Opportunities of Nursing Education and Practice During Pandemic” which was hosted by Department of Nursing, Tzu Chi University, and the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, was one of the co-organizers. This Conference aims to update trends of nursing education and innovation after the pandemic era.

For the morning session, there was an online symposium under the theme “Nursing after Pandemic: Reshaping Practice and Leading Future Healthcare”. Assistant Professor Dr. Rudee Pungbangkadee from Department of Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing joined as a keynote speaker for the topic “Interprofessional Education through Webinar Program--International Experience”. In Dr. Rudee’s session, Lecturer Nattaya Praha from Department of Medical Nursing took part as a moderator.

In the afternoon, the symposium was conducted under the theme “Telehealth in the Pandemic and Beyond-Innovation or Trends in Future Healthcare”. Lecturer Dr. Saowaluck Sukpattanasrikul from Department of Fundamental Nursing, presented with the topic “Promoting Health through International Research Collaboration”.

This event promotes the partnership and collaboration among nursing education professionals over international networking. It is a cooperation for sustainable development according to the Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) which supports global cooperation to foster sustainable development in research and health sciences.
