On August 29, 2022, the Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Faculty of Nursing. Mahidol University and Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health. Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University and Dr. Amporn Benjapolphithak, MD. Director-General of the Department of Mental Health were representatives for the signatory. The purpose of this signing is to work together to develop staff or workers in mental health and psychiatric nursing, to develop academic and research work, and to exchange information and academic papers that are useful in developing knowledge and personnel skills. It will improve quality of mental health and psychiatric services that will bring fullest benefits for mental health and psychiatric nursing development in the country to continually progress. Executives of the Faculty of Nursing and the Department of Mental Health, Director of Srithanya Hospital, Director of Somdet Chaopraya Institute of Psychiatry, and Director of Galya Rajanagarindra Institute joined as witnesses at the Department of Mental Health, Ministry of Public Health, Nonthaburi Province.
