On August 20 - 21, 2022, Assistant Professor Dr. Rudee Pungbangkadee from the Department of Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing, and Assistant Professor Sathaka Pimroon from the Department of Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing, Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, participated in the meeting for developing competence of advisors in tobacco control on the title “Up and Up, Tightening Network for a Smoke-Free Thai Society” led by Associate Professor Supanee Senadisai, President of Nurses Network on Tobacco Control of Thailand. Dr. Rudee took part as a focal person for the project and a committee team held a meeting in Hybrid (Onsite and Online) platform at Woodland Muangmai, Nakhon Pathom Province. The objective was to develop the competence of nursing students in tobacco control including preventing new smokers, helping people to quit smoking, and the developing a smoke-free environment.
