Associate Professor Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Head of Department of Obstetric and Gynecological Nursing, was a representative of Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, to attend the Regional Meeting to Review Progress and Strengthen Midwifery Programme in South-East Asia Region organized by WHO World Health Organization South-East Asia Region (WHO SEARO) in Bangladesh during September 13-15, 2022.

The specific objectives are: 1) to review progress, share innovations, and identify challenges in various areas such as education and training, workforce planning and management, and research, 2) to share technical updates from global and regional offices that are relevant to midwifery; and 3) to identify action points to accelerate progress toward strengthening midwifery.
