On September 21, 2022, Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University organized the opening ceremony for The Nursing and Midwifery Clinic at Faculty of Nursing Dormitory, Bang Khun Non. Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony. Dr. Jakkrit Ngowsiri, Deputy Secretary-General of National Health Security Office (NHSO), attended the event and gave a plate "Warm Community Nursing Clinic" to represent the co-service unit in the national health security system. The attendees were administrative team and faculty members from the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University; as well as representatives from relevant agencies, and people in Bangkok Noi area. At the event, there were free health check-up services from professional nursing staff including breast cancer screening, child development screening, blood sugar testing, managing common symptoms in the elderly, and screening for mental health problems. The free services were available from September 21 – 23, 2022.

This clinic was established with the aim of being a health service with convenient, fast, safe, and reliable access to the public. It is consistent with the policies of the National Health Security Office (NHSO), and a professional council. The results of the survey found that people need care from staff of the Faculty of Nursing, who are nurses with expertise in caring for people of all ages. The clinic is a co-service unit in the national health security system with the title “Warm Community Nursing Clinic” which provides services in primary medical care, risk screening, disease prevention, and health counseling, as well as referring at-risk persons or persons with illnesses to the appropriate medical system in order to reduce congestion in hospitals.

The general public can receive health care services from professional nurses every Monday – Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at The Nursing and Midwifery Clinic at the Faculty of Nursing Dormitory Mahidol University, Bang Khun Non.
