On October 5, 2022 Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, in collaboration with Public Health Service Center 33, Hong Rattanaram Temple, Committee and Community Health Volunteers at Wat Hong Rattanaram and Wat Moli Lokayaram Community, Bangkok Yai Police Station, the Royal Thai Navy, and the Bangkok Yai District Office, organized the ‘Mosquito Control Project’. The objectives were to educate about dengue prevention and adjust the environment to eliminate mosquito breeding grounds. There were activities including demonstrations on making citronella herbs to prevent mosquitoes, and distribute citronella oil. Associate Professor Dr. Rukchanok Koshakri and Assistant Professor Dr. Juntima Rerkluenrit, faculty members of the Department of Public Health Nursing, led the team with 4th year nursing students and staff to participate in this activity. Dr. Chokchai Ngamsaithong, Director of Public Health Service Center 33, Hong Rattanaram Temple, presided over the opening ceremony at the Public Health Service Center 33, Hong Rattanaram Temple.
