Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Attends Royal Robe-Giving Ceremony at Wat Phai Dam, Sing Buri Province


On October 28, 2022, at 2:00 p.m, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn undertook royal duties including Kathina-robe offering at Krishnawelu Buddharam Temple (Wat Phai Dam) in In Buri District, Sing Buri province, Thailand. The event was co-organized by Maha Vajiralongkorn Rajwittayalai Foundation, in collaboration with Sirindhorn Foundation, and Buddhists. Her Royal Highness afterwards paid a visit to Wat Phai Dam General Buddhism Scripture School, and followed up on the progress of the school's teaching and learning management.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, reported to Her Royal Highness about the project implementation in promoting health intelligence for novices at Wat Phai Dam for the year 2022. The Faculty of Nursing continually visited to take care of novices' health in order to develop knowledge of health care and prevents physical and mental health problems of the novices through activities such as developing oral health care skills, developing hand washing skills, and promoting sustainable health care for the prevention of COVID-19. There were also school health activities to assess physical health status, mental health screening and counseling, and campaigns to avoid the use of cigarettes and cannabis. Moreover, there is also a promotion to develop the novice leaders to guide and enhance physical and mental health care behaviors for the younger novices.
