On November 14, 2022, Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University organized training for professional advancement and bringing Virtual OR to foreign countries; as well as introducing the use of equipment in laparoscopic surgery for 50 trainees of Program of Nursing Specialty in Perioperative Nursing, Class 51, Group 1, Academic Year 2022. There was a lecture on the topic of “Virtual OR in USA / Japan” given by Associate Professor Dr. Usavadee Asdornwised, Chair of Program of Nursing Specialty in Perioperative Nursing. There was also discussion on the topic “Career Ladder in Perioperative Nursing” with speakers including Pol. Col. Thanisara Muangnart (President of The Thai Perioperative Nurses Association), Mrs. Daranee Piputtanakulchai (Head of Department of Nursing, Chulabhorn Hospital), Miss Paweena Nanna (Nurse Supervisor from Department of Nursing, Chulalongkorn Hospital), and Assistant Professor Nalinthip Niruntaweechai (Department of Surgical Nursing Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University) joined as moderator. The activity aimed to develop the knowledge of nursing students of Program of Nursing Specialty in Perioperative Nursing to develop themselves and the organization and apply it to work further. The training was held at room 508, 5th floor, Faculty of Nursing. Mahidol University, Bangkok Noi.
