On December 2, 2022, Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, joined MoA Signing Ceremony for Asia-Pacific Qualitative Health Research Network (AQUHN) which is a network of qualitative health researchers in Asia-Pacific region, bases at the School of Nursing, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR. The primary goal of the Network is to enhance understanding/ knowledge of qualitative research, and facilitate the rigorous development of qualitative research design, among academics, health care providers, and students who have an interest in healthcare research in the region. The Network members consisted of leading nursing academic institutions in various countries; Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand.

The Asia-Pacific Qualitative Health Research Network (AQUHN) is considered as a cooperation for sustainable development according to the Sustainable Development Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) which supports global cooperation to foster sustainable development in research and health sciences.
