On December 26, 2022, Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony ‘Innovation Marketplace for Elderly Care’ and Lecturer Dr. Kessiri Wongkongkam, Associate Dean for Academic Service and Social Engagement, gave a report for the event. Associate Professor Dr. Virapun Wirojratana (Head of Department of Fundamental Nursing), Associate Professor Patsamon Khumtaveeporn (Head of Elderly Caregiver Training Program), faculty members, staff, attended the activity. The marketplace was organized to be a platform for exchanging experiences and knowledge, and as an opportunity to open up a space for innovation presentations, which will be the starting point for further commercial development and will be an important part to strengthen inspiration for further innovation development. Participants of the Elderly Caregiver Training Program (420 Hours) jointly presented 13 innovative works as following titles; Group 1) Beautiful and Clean Teeth, Group 2) Pulley for Elderly, Group 3) Weighted Bags for Health, Group 4) Chair Therapy, Group 5) 7-Day-Schedule: Managing Food and Medication, Group 6) Foot Massager Platform, Group 7) Super Bed: Pressure Relief Mattress, Group 8) Water Bags for Preventing Pressure Sores, 9) Wheel for Mobility, 10) Group 10 Herbal Compress Shoes, Group 11) Kheha Smart Elderly: a game to prevent Alzheimer's, 12) Urine Carrying Bag, and Group 13) Carry Sheet for Bed Ridder. The activity was held at room 103, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Salaya.
