On March 29, 2023, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn bestowed a Dialysis Nursing Certificate, presented a souvenir to support the Kidney Foundation and attended the Annual General Meeting of the Kidney Foundation of Thailand No. 1/2023. Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University, gave an audience with Princess Sirindhorn to present the certificates. In this regard, 104 graduates from 4 batches of hemodialysis nurse specialty training program (Batch 46, 47, 48 and 49) received their certificates at the Office of the Kidney Foundation of Thailand Auditorium on the 8th floor of the Galyani Vadhana Building, Priest Hospital, Ratchathewi District, Bangkok.

The Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University is one of the educational institutes that has cooperated with the Kidney Foundation of Thailand in opening a nursing specialty program in Program of Nursing Specialty in Renal Replacement Therapy Nurse Practitioner (Hemodialysis) with the objective of increasing the quality and capacity of nurses to support the need for hemodialysis patients.
