On July 24, 2023, Assistant Professor Chantika Chunpia, Associate Dean for Administration, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony of the free health check-up project to offer as a royal merit on the occasion of the birthday His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua (July 28, 2023), with Lecturer Dr.Kessiri Wongkongkam, Associate Dean for Academic Service and Social Engagement, giving delivered the introductory remarks. There were administrative members along with Heads of Departments, faculty and students of the Master of Nursing Science Program joining the event. The aim of this activity was giving people in Bangkok Noi and nearby areas to gain knowledge and receive preliminary health screening for providing information that will enable general people to take care of their health in order to monitor the risk of chronic non-communicable diseases and take care of themselves effectively.

This activity was held between July, 24 – 25, 2023, at the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University Dormitory, Bang Khun Non. There was the support of the Health Promotion Division, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, in bringing speakers and body composition measurements to serve the public. Faculty members from various departments and students of the Master of Nursing Science Program, joined to serve the public health check service, consisting of basic health check-up, blood pressure measurement, body mass index assessment, physical and mental health problems consultation, fingertip blood test to check sugar levels, and wound dressing services.
