On August 6, 2023, Lecturer Dr. Kessiri Wongkongkam (Associate Dean for Academic Service and Social Engagement) presided over the closing ceremony and certificate presentation for to 29 trainees of the project to develop leadership capacities of migrant workers to promote health and disease prevention among migrant workers with integrated academic services and research.

There were honored participants including Honorary Advisor of Samut Sakhon Provincial Chamber of Commerce, representatives from Samut Sakhon Hospital, representatives from Raks Thai Foundation Samut Sakhon , team of instructors from the Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University led by including Assisted Professor Dr. Rudee Pungbangkadee, Lecturer Dr. Thiwarphorn Chalermpichai, and Assistant Professor Sathaka Pimroon. The event was held at Thai-Mon Learning Center, Pom Wichian Temple, Muang District, Samut Sakhon Province. This project has been organized for 6 consecutive years with the aims of developing the knowledge and skills of migrant leaders for applying the knowledge to take care of their own health family and community as well as working with network partners in the area to promote the health of migrant workers.
