On August 19, 2023, Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University Foundation, in collaboration with Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, organized the Great Picked-Up Robes Offering Ceremony at Wat Traimit Wittayaram Worawihan, Talat Noi Subdistrict, Samphanthawong District, Bangkok. Associate Professor Dr. Yajai Sitthimongkol, Chair of the Foundation Committee and Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, presided over the ceremony. There were administrative team, faculty members, staff, alumni, students, along with President of the Siriraj Nurses' Alumni Association, executives from Department of Nursing Siriraj Hospital, and honored guests participating in the ceremony. The holy activities included offering food to the monks, paying homage to Phra Buddha Maha Suwan Patimakorn, and offering the picked-up robes. Besides, there was offering Thai dharma items and monks’ robes. Somdet Phra Phutthachan, Abbot of Wat Traimit Wittayaram Worawihan was a representative giving a blessing message to audiences.
