On October 16, 2023, Assistant Professor Phichet Wongrot (Associate Dean for Academic Services and Policy Advocacy), and Assistant Professor Dr.Sasitara Nuampa (Assistant Dean for Research) of Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, gave a warm welcome to 14 guests from Lao People's Democratic Republic visiting to attend the project "Capacity Building for Sustainable Future in Developing Regions Networking". This project is supported by The Rockefeller Foundation, Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mahidol University. The welcoming event took place at Chantana Nilwarangkool. On the same day, the delegates also visited Royal Archives of Queen Sri Savarindira and Royal Archives of Prince Mahidol of Songkla-Princess Srinagarindra at the 1st Floor Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Salaya.

Under the Project "Capacity Building for Sustainable Future in Developing Regions Networking", the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, organized the workshop project to enhance the competency of nurse midwives and develop a continuous care system for high-risk pregnant women in Vientiane Capital, Lao PDR, which is one of the projects funded by The Rockefeller Foundation, with Assistant Professor Dr. Sasitara Nuampa as the project leader.
