On October 2, 2023, Division of Academic Services of Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University organized the project “Health Literacy Promoting for Novices’ Well Beings” at Wat Phai Dam, Sing Buri province, for 106 novices at the secondary education level. There were health promoting activities such as oral health checkup by H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's Mobile Dental Service Center of Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University, oral health care skills development activity, and skin diseases prevention activity. There were faculty members from the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, joining to provide knowledge to the novices. The objectives of this event were to promote oral health care skills, to educate the correct way to brush teeth, and to provide skin disease prevention knowledge for personal hygiene of novices. Such activities align with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages, and Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
