On November 24, 2023, Assistant Professor Dr.Supapak Phetrasuwan, Associate Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, attended the 18th International Forum of Health Sciences organized by Department of Health Sciences, Kyushu University, onsite in Japan. Assistant Professor Dr.Supapak joined as a special speaker to give presentations on “The International Exchange Activities of Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University” and “The Current Status of Mental Health in Thailand and Local Effort” to the audience of Kyushu University’s students, faculty members, and staff.

In the 18th International Forum of Health Sciences, there was also the hybrid activity “Student Meeting” aiming to let nursing students share and learn each other’s knowledge and experiences. This year, there were 2 groups of undergraduate students from Faculty of Nursing Mahidol University joined the activity through Zoom Meetings to give presentations on the following topics. Group 1) The fourth-year students of the Bachelor of Nursing Science Program; Ms. Suparat Thongma, Ms. Ausama Sonjaijit, Ms. Hongnicha Nakhaphan, and Ms. Suwaphat Phetkeeree, gave a presentation on "How do the culture and lifestyle of nursing students in Thailand affect their health?" and Group 2) The fourth-year students of the Bachelor of Nursing Science Program; Ms. Waruenada Somkhot, Ms. Sudarat Thipburee, and Ms. Nitchanan Boontor, gave a presentation on "Health Situation Analysis of Thai Population in 2023”. This forum is an international collaboration aiming to enhance students’ qualities and 21st-century skills and to foster and strengthen global partnerships.
