On June 18, 2024, the Faculty Committee of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, extended congratulations to Associate Professor Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, for achieving the academic status in teaching from the United Kingdom Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF) in the category of Senior Fellow. This recognition was granted on May 8, 2024, at the Chantana Nilwarangkool Meeting Room, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Salaya. The UKPSF, a professional teaching standards framework, serves as a guideline to enhance academic staff capabilities, reflecting the potential of academic staff at advanced education levels with teaching standards equivalent to international standards. This certification is accredited by Advance HE, an institution that globally recognizes teaching competencies.

The Faculty of Nursing recognizes the importance of developing academic staff capabilities in modern educational management. It has initiated programs to enhance teaching quality based on the Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF), aligning with international teaching management systems widely adopted and popularized. This initiative aims to develop professional teachers capable of applying Outcome-Based Education principles, a pivotal tool in enhancing teaching quality within the faculty.
