On July 8, 2024, Assistant Professor Dr.Supapak Phetrasuwan, Associate Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communication, presided over the opening session for the class ‘NSID225/226 Cultural Diversity in Health Care for Interprofessional Education’ in 2024, organized between July 8 – 19, 2024, at Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Salaya. The course taught in English was opened for Thai and international students. Assistant Professor Dr. Sirada Kesornsri, Associate Dean for International Relations, took part as Course Director. The instructor team consisted of lecturers from Faculty of Nursing and Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University, and also an international co-instructor from Universitas Indonesia.
There were 75 students from the Faculty of Nursing and Faculty of Medical Technology, Mahidol University (Thailand), Peking Union Medical College (China), Huazhong University of Science & Technology (China), Universitas Indonesia (Indonesia), University of Gadjah Mada (Indonesia), The University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong SAR), and Kaohsiung Medical University (Taiwan R.O.C). The group of students also visited the Royal Archives of Queen Sri Savarindira and Royal Archives of Prince Mahidol of Songkla-Princess Srinagarindra, and took a tram tour for sightseeing the Salaya Campus.
