On August 1, 2024, Associate Professor Dr.Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, received Distinguished Thai Women Award of the Year 2024 in the category of organization member from Her Majesty the Queen on Thai Women’s Day 2024. The event was organized by the National Council of Women of Thailand Under the Royal Patronage of H.M. The Queen in collaboration with the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security under the theme “น้อมเกล้าฯ ถวายความภักดี ปวงสตรีสืบสานการพัฒนา” at the Royal Jubilee Ballroom, Challenger Hall, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center, Muang Thong Thani. In the morning, there was a congratulatory ceremony and the presentation of certificates by Sukanya Prachuabmoh, President of the National Council of Women of Thailand, and Mr. Anukul Peedkaew, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.This prestigious award honors Thai women with notable achievements and contributions recognized by individuals, communities, and society.
