The Event "NSMU Open House 2024"


On September 7, 2024, the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, organized the "NSMU Open House 2024" and participated in the Mahidol University Open House 2024, organized under the theme “Empowering the Next Generation.” Professor Dr. Piyamitr Sritara, Acting President of Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony of the Mahidol Open House 2024, which took place from September 7-8, 2024. The Faculty of Nursing participated by setting up an information booth to introduce the Bachelor of Nursing Science program and demonstrating teaching mannequins, alongside other faculties of Mahidol University. Assistant Professor Dr.Juntima Rerkluenrit, Associate Dean for Education, along with Lecturer Dr.Thiwarphorn Chalermpichai, Deputy Head of Department of Obstetric and Gynaecological Nursing, staff, and nursing students the Faculty of Nursing, attended the event at the Sirivittaya Building, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Mahidol University (Salaya).

Additionally, the Faculty of Nursing hosted the NSMU Open House 2024 at the Mahidol Adulyadej-Phrasrinakharindra Building, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University (Salaya). Associate Professor Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, presided over the opening ceremony, accompanied by Assistant Professor Thirawan Chuetaleng, (Associate Dean for Student Development), Assistant Professor Dr. Supapak Phetrasuwan (Associate Dean for International Relation and Corporate Communication) and Assistant Professor Dr.Penchan Sittipreechachan (Assistant Dean for Student Development), jointly welcomed high school students, parents, and interested attendees to learn more about the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University.

This year marked the 8th year of this event, which included presentations on the curriculum, student exchange programs with international institutions, TCAS 68 admission criteria, and senior nursing students sharing their experiences. Attendees also had the opportunity to experience various hands-on activities, such as basic physical examinations, vital signs assessments, basic CPR, the use of AI educational technology, student development activities, and a visit to the Royal Archives. The event attracted a large number of participants.
