On November 6, 2024, Associate Professor Dr.Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, delivered the opening remark for the 18th Asia Pacific Alliance for Health Leaders (APAHL) Forum. The event was attended by administrative team, department heads, and faculty members who warmly welcomed the participants.
This year, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, hosted the forum under the theme “Precision Health: Creative Wellness Health Care to Promote Health Outcomes” from November 6 to 9, 2024, at the Mahidol Adulyadej-Prasrinakarin Building, Salaya Campus.
The APAHL Forum aimed to develop the leadership skill of interprofessional health science students in the Asia-Pacific region, fostering collaboration, academic and cultural exchange, and shared learning experiences. This 18th annual event brought together over 50 participants, including faculty members and students from the following institutions:
- Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Thailand
- Faculty of Nursing and Faculty of Medical Technology, Chiang Mai University, Thailand
- School of Health Sciences (Laboratory Sciences and Nursing), Yamaguchi University, Japan
- School of Nursing, The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR
- School of Nursing and Midwifery, Deakin University, Australia (as an observer institution)
The forum featured special lectures from distinguished speakers: Dr. Chanin Limwongse, Associate Dean for Human Resources, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, on “Precision Health: Emerging Approach in Healthcare” and Dr. Kanyarat Kuisuwan, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Comprehensive Medical Industry Promotion, Ministry of Public Health, on “Global Healthcare and Wellness Center: Beyond Borders.”
