On November 29, 2024, Assistant Professor Phichet Wongrot, Associate Dean for Academic Services and Policy Advocacy, attended the certificate awarding and closing ceremony of the 6th Emergency Nurse Practitioner Program, offering congratulations and presenting awards to the top-performing students of the program. The event was held at Chulabhorn Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Siamin Building, Siriraj Hospital, and was honored by a distinguished team of experts. A total of 47 professional nurses from across the country participated in the program, a collaboration between key organizations including the Nursing Department of Siriraj Hospital (the main host), the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, and Lerdsin Hospital under the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Medical Services.
The curriculum was designed to be intensive, covering both theoretical and practical components, to enhance expertise in emergency nursing care, from the scene of the incident to the emergency room, including patient reception, command, and transfer of emergency patients. This event marks an important step in advancing the skills of Thai nurses to an international level, ensuring patient confidence in all emergency situations with highly knowledgeable and capable personnel.The ceremony not only celebrated the success of the trainees but also demonstrated the shared commitment of the nursing field and related professions to building a workforce that can meet the growing challenges of emergency care in the future.
