On December 18, 2024, Associate Professor Dr.Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, was invited by the Nurses’ Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra to deliver a lecture titled "The Investment Cycle in Nurse Education: Perspectives from Government/Public vs. Individual Nurses." This was part of the 2024 Annual General Meeting and Academic Conference on "Nurses Shaping the Future and Economic Power in Healthcare Systems." The conference was held at the Nurses’ Association of Thailand, Ratchathewi District, Bangkok, and via Zoom. The event, co-organized by the Nurses’ Council, the Nurses’ Association of Thailand, and the International Council of Nurses, brought together representatives from over 130 countries. Discussions focused on designing and developing nursing products aligned with public needs to enhance economic value through nursing competencies, including patient care, health promotion, and disease prevention.
