On December 3, 2024, Associate Professor Dr.Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, together with administrative team, faculty members, and staff, declared their commitment to preventing and combating corruption. The declaration included a demonstration of the anti-corruption symbol in recognition of International Anti-Corruption Day, observed annually on December 9. On this occasion, the Faculty of Nursing also formally announced its No Gift Policy during the 24th Faculty Board Meeting of 2024. This policy underscores the commitment to rejecting all forms of gifts or gratuities in the performance of official duties.
The Faculty of Nursing is deeply aware of the importance of preventing and eradicating all forms of corruption. It encourages all personnel to refrain from any acts of dishonesty and to uphold organizational values by adhering to principles of integrity and ethics. The faculty emphasizes accountability to oneself, the institution, society, and the nation, thereby ensuring that its operations are conducted with honesty, transparency, accountability, and ethical standards.
This initiative serves to inform the public of the Faculty's dedication to ethical and transparent management practices. It also aligns with the institution's mission to achieve effective, sustainable governance in accordance with good governance principles and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Furthermore, it supports the national reform plan on preventing and combating corruption and misconduct, particularly the promotion of the No Gift Policy spearheaded by the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC).
