On March 21, 2025, the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University held the closing ceremony and certificate presentation for the 14th cohort of the Infection Control and Infectious Disease Nursing Specialty Program for the academic year 2024. In this ceremony, Associate Professor Dr.Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, presided over the certificate presentation and offered congratulations to the graduates. The event was also attended by Assistant Professor Phichet Wongrot, Associate Dean for Academic Services and Policy Advocacy delivered the report, along with Professor Emeritus Dr. Somwang Danchaivijit, Associate Professor Dr. Yong Rangkruangruang, and Ms. Raksanan Khwanmuang, representing the Head of the Nursing Department, Siriraj Hospital joined in congratulating the graduates.
This program is aimed at developing nurses with specialized expertise in caring for infectious disease patients and controlling the spread of infections, addressing public health challenges and strengthening the healthcare system. This aligns with the strategic plan of the Faculty of Nursing for 2025-2028. This year, 31 participants from various organizations completed the training. The ceremony took place at Room 508, Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Bangkok Noi. It marks another significant achievement for Thai nurses, contributing to the advancement of the country's healthcare system.
