Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University Upholds Thai Cultural Heritage through Merit-Making Ceremony under the “Mahidol Embraces Thai Way of Life” Project 2025


On April 24, 2025, faculty members, secretarial staff, and personnel from the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, participated in a merit-making ceremony at the Phra Buddha Mahasiri Piryapat Hall, Mahidol University, Salaya Campus. The event was held under the annual cultural preservation project entitled “Mahidol Embraces Thai Way of Life,” organized by Mahidol University. The project aims to raise awareness among staff and students of the value of Thai arts and culture, while fostering a collective commitment to preserving Thailand’s cherished traditions for future generations. This merit-making ceremony not only reflects the participants’ faith in Buddhism but also serves as an opportunity to strengthen unity within the university community. Moreover, the event offered spiritual encouragement and blessings to administrators, faculty, staff, and students who attended with sincere intention and devotion.

For the Faculty of Nursing which plays a vital role in promoting health and well-being for the public. This activity also symbolizes the deep connection between the spirit of nursing and the values of Thai culture. Both are regarded as essential foundations for the sustainable development of Thai society. The faculty remains committed to supporting and promoting activities that nurture compassion, gentleness, and a respectful appreciation for Thai identity, all of which contribute to a harmonious and understanding society.
