Rehabilitation nurses play a pivotal role as the cornerstone in caring for patients in the Intermediate Care (IMC) system, providing essential rehabilitative services during transitions from hospital to community and supporting long-term integrated care. This specialized program is a collaboration between the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, and the Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Institute, designed to enhance the capacity of nurses to deliver continuous and integrated care to patients requiring rehabilitation. The program aligns with the Service Plan approach and effectively supports Thailand's transition to an aging society.
